Got a Sony Vaio laptop -VPCEB4E1E with windows 7 & Home Premium. Have used 2 Vaio laptops before and turned photos in normal Windows photo viewer without any problem.
When I load a batch of several hundred photos- any photo which I turn disappears. I sorted this by changing settings to show hidden files. But then the file is partly showing faded so to make it fully operational- I then have to right click on each photo-hit 'properties'- hit 'attributes' then uncheck 'hidden'. When you try another photo- the changed settings go back to 'attributes' and 'hidden'. This taking so many hours + days longer to sort photos.
Can anyone solve the 2 problems. Any ideas how photos will show when turning and not having to have them as hidden files ? Also can I make hidden files showing as 'uncheck hidden' as a permanent default. Do I have a faulty computer or is it something in the settings ?
A friend has a Toshiba laptop with Wins & Hom Prem and photos turn normally. Is it a new Sony security feature ??
