Hello Everyone,
I've been working hard at it but to no avail, so I thought I'd ask here.
Im am atempting to install the remote play feature which come's preinstalled on newer VAIO's on my VGX XL 302 (UK) Windows Vista 32bit machine.
I have been to the website :
http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/vaio-playstation-3/remote-play
And I'd also like to install the Remote Keyboard of the VAIO VGX XL 302 using this SONY Software :
http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/vaio-playstation-3/remote-keyboard
Now the website list's loads of VAIO model's that have this functionality, but my model is not listed due to it being Vista 32bit. I have seen mods on the internet that allow you to install this software on other computers, not just VAIO's, but I do not want to resort to, this as I prefer my software legal.
:smileyconfused:The website say's that you must be running Window's 7 to use these software package's. I have purchased Window's 7 and would install it just for these program's, but I'm worried that even if I did, it would not let me use the software as I have the wrong model. Does anybody know if this is true, or if there is a work around for it.
Would I also have to install the 32bit or 64bit version of Windows 7, as after reading the forum's here on VAIO Link ect, The 32bit Win7 install's if you turn the firewire off in the bios, but the 64bit version is actually quite hard to get installed as SONY do not support 64bit OS's.
Please help, kind regards
:smileycool:Richard
