I have an issue trying to connect my new laptop to the internet with a wire. It was working at my parents wirelessly but got home and plugged the wire in and i get the exclamation mark in a triangle in the
bottom right. Tried troubleshooting, it comes up with ''your local area connection doesnt have a valid ip configuration'', contacted vaio support who told me to uninstall the ethernet controller then restart but this didnt fix it. The internet works fine on my old laptop and im stuck for ideas now, any help would be grealy appreciated
