My Sony Vaio VPCEE3E0E trackpad and buttons have completly stopped working

So my dada bought me a sony vaio on Thursday 16th December as a replacement to my previous laptop which had conked out forever :slight_frown: That laptop never gave me a problem however with this on the first day of having it i had 3 trojan totally killing my laptop so that had to be fixed easy peasy simple pimple. but now im faced with the fact that my trackpad and buttons wont work at all:smileyangry: the settings for it isnt on the mouse properties, it is gone forever. what do i do? is this a sony fault or my own?

You will find the controls for the Trackpad in VAIO CONTOL CENTRE.

Are you sure you haven't turned off the Trackpad?  If you have, you will need to connect a USB mouse to turn it on again in Vaio Control Centre.

If all else fails, try reinstalling the Trackpad Driver - The updated Alps Driver version 7.107.505.102 is downloadable from here: -
