I planning to buy laptop with I3 or I5 processor support mother board. But from EEtimes i came to know that Intel planning to end the sale of this processor to user by next quarter of the year and Intel launches new CPU platform called Maho Bay. Whether in existing laptop design if any problem arises with motherboard ,we can upgrade the existing motherboard with new technology CPU 's. as if I5 or I3 or I7 is not available.
In short, With the motherboards that run the CPUs(i3&i5) being both backwards and forwards compatible for new CPU technology(Ivy Bridge CPU)
