How do I check if my laptop can receive 5Ghz router signal?

Hi BeetleDad,

Open Vaio Control Center > Network Connections > Vaio Smart Network > Advanced > Settings.

Here you will find the ‘Mode’ options under the drop down menu.

The instructions may vary slightly for your model but the principal will be the same.
