For some inexplicable reason, I am having massive problems with my keyboard keys. Some of the number keys seem to be attached to function keys, for example pressing the "five" number key automatically refreshes the page. Number "one" brings up a new webpage and I cannot understand why. In IE, the "p" key also brings up a bloody F12 function debug box.
Also, the backspace key does not now repeat if I hold it down, I have to key pressing it numerous times to erase characters.
I have performed comphrehensive virus scans using a variety of software, I've tried reinstalling the keyboard using device manager. Also downloaded the latest drivers for the machine. The keys work properly using the "virtual" keyboard but the real one is a pain.
I am using a Sony VIAO laptop VPCEB3F4E and Win7. Here is a picture of the keyboard:

Any help very gratefully received.
Unfortunately this does not sound like a software problem. I think there is a hardware fault in the keyboard or its wiring connection that will need to be repaired.
How long have you had the Vaio? If a very short time then contact the seller. Alternatively contact Vaio Support by entering your serial number here and telephoning the Support Line.

Got exactly the same problem.
Press '1' or '2'' on the num pad and get '21'. Press '3' or '.' and get '.3'.
Pressing '1' on the main keyboard acts like F1.
Waiting for the support desk to open on Monday. Grrrrr.
I have the exact same problem with a VPCEB3M1E ... in fact I just posted a question ...
Did any of you manage to solve it?
Any help / suggestion?
