Hi,
After using Seatools on my Vaio HD (it's a Seagate ST9750420AS), which tripped SMART and failed to zero write the drive, I'm guessing it's time to bit the bullet and buy a new drive :smileysad:... can anyone confirm whether a Seagate ST95005620AS would be a suitable replacement drive? Any other suggestions for a "better" alternative? Is it worth trying to clean the heads of my 'dead' drive first?
Thanks very much, any help most appreciated!
Regards, J.
