We've had our Sony RDR-HXD710 recorder connected to our Bravia KDL-S26A12U for some years. They both work fine - except for one irritating thing. If I turn on the TV, then the recorder, a loud vibration-type noise comes from the TV. I should point out tha nothing is actually vibtating - it's just a very rapid alternating noise. If I'm playing a DVD, for instance, the noise continues until the DVD process starts. It never returns until he next time the machines are switched on again.
It happens every time the machines are switched on.
This has been going on for years, and the only way I can stop it is by clicking the mute button on the Bravia and waiting untl things get started.
I asked the Sony shop in Tottenham Court Road, but they had no idea.
Any ideas?
