Bravia KDL-32HX755 does not recognize 3D

Hello,

when I receive 3D signal it is shown side-by-side, rather than in 3D. In settings -> display -> 3D settings menu, in "3D display" item, I can only choose "off" or "simulated 3D". I cannot choose "side-by-side" or "over-under", because it is grayed out.

I tried "auto 3D" set to both "on" and "off", but neither helped.

Does anybody have a similar problem?

Thank you.

Hi there

Without knowing much about your setup (as in how you are playing 3D content), the first thing to check is - Are you using a HDMI cable that supports 3D signal. You need HDMI 1.4

Cheers.

Hello,

it is cable 3D broadcast, not from an external device over HDMI. The signal is clear, I see side-by-side picture.

I should have added that it is using a built-in DVB-C modem in the TV set, no external cable modem.
