Hello, I've been at this problem for some time now and I have no clue what has happened. I simply connect the USB to computer and phone, Click Start in PC Companion (in File Manager). I drag and drop my pictures from 'My pictures' to 'images' and the pictures does appear in the folder of 'image' but once I disconnect the USB so I can access the photos in the phone, it's nowhere to be found. I'm not sure what's wrong with the card or the phone, I've tried deleting pictures from the folder ('image') that I open in the computer but once I disconnect to check if the images I deleted are gone, they are still there. It's like the SD card is not even connected or being read by my phone? The weird part is that it use to work before I updated the phone to 4.0.4. The file sizes and formats are identical... Music and other files don't show in the phone at all either.

on your phone, download OI file manager or Astro file manager > go to the folder where you transfer the pictures > do you see them?

Ok, It shows in OI File Manager and Astro Manager. I clicked one of the pictures then it asks what to use to open the file or w/e ('Gallery' and 'Xperia Gallery' > I chose Xperia Gallery) but the file number count hasn't changed and the pictures don't show in the gallery... I can clearly see it in the managers but not in the actual gallery!

settings > apps > all > album > scroll down > clear cache > restart your phone and check again

I found 'Gallery', 'Xperia Gallery' but no albums and all of which didn't allow me to clear it's cache... I've also tried restarting my phone, no different results.

Yes! QuickPic works! I'll try and add more photos if it does really work, thanks a BUNCH! If you're not annoyed yet, could you explain why this happened? It works with another app but not with the actual system!?
