How many Arc users are experiencing cracks like this?

I have a blue Arc and so far no cracks yet. Fingers crossed :smileywink:.
I try to keep my phone is mint condition but since there are many users reporting it, may be it is just a matter of time before the cracks appear.
May be different batches the quality control is not so good.
On the other hand, most likely it is a design oversight.
Hi my friends
Well My Arc is 4 months old. Today when I read about the cracks, I checked my phone and unfortunately I found a crock on the upper part of the housing as it shows in the picture. I never dropped my phone and have it always in a silicone case.
Contacting SE via chat I have been told to contact the local office in Sweden (I live in Sweden).
I called Xperia support and explained the issue to the technician and told him by now the crack is a known issue and asked him for help. At the same time that I received a very cold receiving, asked me to wait. After 3-4 sec he told me I have to leave it back to the dealer that I bought the phone, then dealer will send it to one of the SE authorized service places to assess if this issue (the crack) will be covered by warranty or not,,,that’s all…..
I will let you know the rest of the history when I contact the dealer and IF my phone repairs on warranty.
Cheers
We need to do a complait together !!!!
Appreciate if somebody can start a petition/complain or facebook page. I m not good in that otherwise I would love to do that because really I`m frustrated specially from SE behovier.
Cheers

what the ... what, I don't know about reinforced materials
Thats is a answer-email , they say that new piece they have used to repair the cracks are reinforced ( stronger than the old one).
Okay that's great if they are fixing it, is it some kind of new housing ?... But if that's the case why didn't they do that in the first place, before putting the Arc on the market, as they already knew that because of the design, there could be solidity issues. Perhaps they didn't want to put more money in the whole stuff ...
Thanks for keeping us in on it
Thanks for the update. Can't see why Sony Ericsson didn't use this reinforced housing for the Arc in the first place.
