Will there be JB 4.1/4.2 for Xperia U?

Hello everyone

Since the day I updated my Xperia U to Jelly Bean 4.0 I have had many problems. Screen laggs, apps which froze, 2 times I had to wait 30minutes untill my phone started. So I talked about it with a friend and he said that from 4.1, Jelly Bean is working very good.
So my question is: Will there be an 4.1 update for the Xperia U?

it has been announced that neither the Xperia U nor Sola will receive Jelly Bean, neither 4.1 nor 4.2, your friend probably has IceCream Sandwich 4.0.4 or a custom ROM

I beleive now that there will no longer software updates for U

However you can root, unlock your bootloader and enjoy the unofficial JB that is ported to U

Your warranty will be void if you do this although

I Think NO...as specificatrions of Xperia U says -

Operating system	Android 2.3.7 Upgrade able to Android 4.0

But i hope Sony atleast gives us firmwire upgrade to remove bugs and make ICS faster / remove lag in this phone.

no official jellybean for xperia u but xda developers ported xperia p jelly bean to u but there are some bugs in soon they will fix it.sony is not doing this but xda are doing.
