Why can I update to JB?

Having a Xperia J and having heard that a JB update was released, i tried an update using Companion......for my amazement, although my release is 11.0.A.7.8, Companion just said....."Your phone is up to date"......I thought that Companion had some problem so i went to sony's web site and tried to update from there......."Your phone is up to date" was the answer......

If the latest available software is the 11.2.A.0.21 release...how can my phone be up to date?

How can i make this update happen in my phone?

I have the same problem. Probably it's not a global release.

updates like this are usually released in waves. Just wait a bit, you'll probably get the update within the next week. I'm also waiting for it.

after the update is released it still has to go through an regional/carrier approval, you can read about it here
