Red border flashes on Screen - Xperia P

Hi Guys,

I bought xperia P on Tuesday (20/08/12) adn was working fine. I updated to ICS on (23/08/12). Still it was working flawlessly.

Bought a Microsim today, and without checking anything I uninstalled Mcaffee which was the default antivirus provided by sony. After that whenever I bring the City temp/climate gadget on home screen the home screen flashes a Red border on the screen. Similar thing happens when I try to open album. Everything else is working just fine.

What can be the issue? Any work arounds?

I have attached an image, this is how it looks. But goes away instantly and pop ups on when I access something that needs internet.

Hi Born2rule, Once try to do the factory data rest in your mobile, and see if this help u .

make a back up while doing this Action.

On which version ur Mobile is 2.3 or 4.04

If 2.3 go to Settings>Privacy>Factorydata reset (All Apps, Messages, Contacts will be deleated, Make a Back up)

If 4.04 go to Setting>Back&Reset>Factorydata Reset (All Apps, Messages, Contacts will be deleated, Make a Back up)

Is SIM to be removed while doing it?

Before you do a factory reset try this

Settings > Developer options > uncheck EVERYTHING
