Hello., have read over youre blogs thouroughly but havent go an answer as yet. This update appears to have been just releasedin the last week or so in Australia. Before updating I had wifi, now after update I dont. Everything else appears fine. I see lots of people seem to be having this problem. Is there a simple answer to fixing this or do you just suggest I do the 'repair'. FYI I connect to wifi via a mobile broadband connection. There is no problem with my wifi broadband as other devives ie ipod still connecting. Tried using phone as wifi hotspot and Ipod will connect to it - just phone wont connect nor find any wifi signals. Please help. Very annoying. This is the second major issue ive had with this phone. First one had to be returned under warranty as faulty. Looks like this one will be going back if this is not fixed very quickly. A smartphone without wifi is useless-sorry to say. How many other users in austraia have experienced this as this update was just released here recently for Xperia Go ST27i.

Hi Welcome to the Form,

If u Already performed the Software repair and the still the problem continues, I suggest you to visit the Near by Sony service center and get the Phone Examined.

I have the same problem.

2 days ago upgraded to ICS through pc companion.

And now the wifi is extra messy, it kond a works but doesn't work. It works for a few seconds when i switch it on, but then it stops. Before upgrade everything worked just fine. Also i performed phone repair. I guess sony just needs to send out a new bug fix.

I have sony xperia go st27i, Latvia.

I got the same in Latvia. I feel sick. Waited so long for this phone and now without wi-fi it feels like a brick.

I'm sorry to hear. I suggest that you contact your local support team to have your phone examined and fixed at an repair center.

Did the 'Repair' today via PC Companion and that seemed to correct my wifi issues - thank you all for your assistance. Technology can be frustrating! Errrggghh
