hi, i would like to know what happened with the ics update for the xperia s in telcel, mexico because they tell me that they dont have it, but in your web page it says that there is a new update and i would like to get it. what could happen if i put it, will i lose the warranty, or what can i do to get it without loosing the warranty, thanks.

1) backup your current firmware
then
2) manually update your phone

The update is not (or not yet) available for your Xperia S.
The warranty status (if a problem occurs) is confirmed at the time the phone is assesed by a technician. There is a possibility the warranty will be voided by an unauthorized update.
have you ever think about updating the phone in telcel, can you give me a date or should i go ahed and flash your generic rom?
the problem is not Sony, is telcel with them crapy updates, I am in telcel too, but since day one, my phone is ICS updated, its up to you, I did it and my warranty is ok, because i use an original Sony Update, unbranded, but original, you can contact me and will help you

Thanks guys I did it and I think that the update is cool but the ram drains like he'll, have you root it because I do can't l, have done it with flashtool and unlockroot.
