I'm not able to add second Gmail account to my xperia mini pro

Hi folks,

I was trying to add my second gmail account to my xperia mini pro. It is running on 2.1 version .As per the instructions in website I tried to add second account from accounts and setting page, after Keying in login name and password , it says it will take 5 minutes but after 2 minutes returns error "can't esablish reliable data connection to server"  . My data connection is fine and other apps are able to connect to internet through wi-fi or EDGE without any issue. I tried to write to get in touch with customer care through mail, but unfortunatley no response from them other than auto reply.

If anybody knw how to fix this, Please help me out.

I have the same problem. How did you "fix the firmware"?

Hi,

I used SE PC companion to "repair" the firmware, remember to backup all your data before proceeding.
