I m using Sony xperia Sola, It is a good Phone, Nice performance, But i m worried about Its ics update...
Ics sucks more Ram than Gb,
Is 512mb Ram(368mb) on Xperia Sola enough???
If not, should I go with Sony xperia p,
My budget is very tight...I had bought Sola very difficulty...
Low Ram on Sola is main reason for upgarding phone...
So,Whats ur IDea???,
512 Ram enough for Sony xperia Sola??...

if you consider upgrading for ICS i dont think you need to, but if you consider more furutre updates you may need to :smileyhappy:, plus the P has more features to consider (4" display, 8MP Camera, 16GB internal memory, and the 1GB Ram)....
Note: i dont think anyone would tell you if the Sola would fit the GB requirements or not, even Sony's Customer Support!
the 2011 xperia family had 512mb of ram,, they handled ICS but it consumed 60-70% of the ram.. but sola has dual core cpu so it might handle it preety much better than the 2011 xperia family.
the chance to expand the memmory up to 32 GB might be worth looking for.
All xperia models, which were released this year should be ready for ICS. If you look in past, there are some low/weak models, which has ICS and it works fine.
Thanx for Reply...
Your Guide is very lengthy, i have no intrest in Reading:smileylaugh::smileylaugh:
So,
378mb Ram is enough?..
There is no need upgrade???
The HTC One V comes preloaded with Android ICS and it has 1 Ghz single core processor and also 512 Ram, Some other phones the same, so i think the sola should handle ICS pretty fine,
But dont know if it can be upgradable to 4.1!!!!!!!
Means there is no need to spend money on upgarde Sola to p?:smileyhappy:

if it is just ram you are worried about, I would suggest to stick to your sola, better save up the money for future phones.
2013 xperia family. lol
