Can't update xperia on PC companion!

Can anyone help me, when I go on to PC companion I follow the promps but for strange reason when I try to connect to the (MTP) Media Transfer mode PC companion say that It has lost connection!

I have the same problem... Can't update with pc companion, but i can't update with update service also. Pls help me...

why you cannot update..??

is your bootloader unlocked..??

what error is the software showing..??

I don't know if my bootloader is unloked(how i can find this). I had the 0% baterry issue, the warranty repaired this. when i got my phone back, it was with android 2.3.3; i updated with wotan (is the only who works to update my phone). now i have android 2.3.4 with 4.0.2.A.0.42. pc companion give me the new update(4.0.2.A.0.62),buit i can't install; it say "failed, try again later"

ok try with a differnt pc and see if that works....

thats odd , i think now you have to again get it checked by the service centre

but tell me pls how can i check if my bootloader is unlocked

simple run SEUS or PCC and if you get a warning saying that you have a modified software then it is unlocked
