Does someone have the camera issue? On 8MP auto, when you want to snap something in the dark with flash, sometimes a half of picture is black. It looks like saving picture is not synchronized with flash snap or some light messurement problem i don't know. I've checked all kind of variation in options - still no result. On 6MP everything works fine.

Ofcouse we speak about everything stock, locked bl.

I'm sorry that it has taken so long but the problem has now been located and a fix will be implemented in the JB software update.

a lot of users who upgraded their XP have this problem. I hope Sony would release fix for this.

Could you try using 3rd party camera apps. and set them to 8mp and try capturing photos? can you post here?

yes even i m facing the same problem, is thr a solution fr this??the first tym i faced this prob was right after updating the firmware, then i switched off and switched on d phone, d cam prob was solved.. but when i checked after sometime d prob reappeared..it is so annoying!!!
and dont u think this firmware update has made d phone wrking more slow n laggy..?

i also tried to install diff camera app frm playstore, but d flash prob still exists..

Initially when i installed the firmware from official sony pc companion i was not facing any kind of this bug but yesterday when i tried to root my phone with the method in this foum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2023756 after reflashing back the 6.1.1.B.1.54 kernel i started to face this problem then i solved it by making a ftf of the lastest firmware which i have downloaded initially from pc companion and then by flashing only kernel from it and the problem was gone.....also i have a LB and i don't know how to extract the kernel from the whole ftf otherwise i would have uploaded it fr u.....hope this info might help u
