Hello, i have seen many threads about this matter but none I've found seems to talk about a non-blinking red light. It doesn't open at all. Should I change the battery ?
I am very dissapointed, i enjoyed that phone.

Since this is hardware related it'll be quite complicated to assist you but if you connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power > does the LED flash? does the phone vibrate? when did this happened? were you flashing the phone? dropped? exposed it to water/steam/rain?

Sorry for the late answer. I dropped it a year ago, after it had fallen the lcd was broken, but i could still hear that it was fonctionning every time i was touching the screen. The sound was alright and i guess the digitizer too. I recently remembered about that phone and about a week ago I tried to power it ON after charging it. Nothing was going on, only the red light. I have tried holding the power button has you havve said and the LED flashes 2-3 times then it remains steady. I ordered a new screen, hopefully i am not spending my money for nothing.

whenever you open the phone, make sure that all the ribbons are properly connected.

Thank you for the advice, I will do so. I have received the screen today, it's going to be installed tonight. I'll give you some feedback when done.

I have installed the new screen, but nothing has changed. I observed that the upper part of the phone is warm when charging, but the light is same as before. I have tried holding down volume +/- and Power button and it has vibrated three time, but never turned on.
