Have you tried the reset pin next to the SD card...

mine did the same just a red light occassionally flashing but not charging or responding....

reset pin and then the power button for about 10seconds should fix it

My sony m2dual does not charging properly. As soon as i plug-in my wall charger it starts charging but after some time it automatically disconnect charging. I have used two sony charger but still problem is the same.

tryed lots of things including pcc, replacing battery, charging overnight, holding power button and vol up and off button under sd and sim slot ect. dont know what to do to get it working plz help

hi, have you tried the reset button, it is situated under the sim card flap a little button, need a pin to press it in, hold for about 5 seconds the phone gives a little vibration then charge!

you absolute legend!! - ive been banging my head against the wall trying to get phone to charge and power up and this worked instantly why i didnt think of checking on here first is beyond me!! lol. thanks for your post
