In India, Reliance Jio is launching its commercial service in coming months, It will support only Voice over LET (VoLTE) and No 2G/3G voice services. Many phones recently launched in India do support VoLTE feature and other manufacturers enabling this future with a software update. Xperia M4 Aqua has SD615 processor which inherently support VoLTE future, So please activate/enable this future with a software update.
Thanks

@Emir wrote:Hi @ppgsk17,
I'm afraid that I do not know what has been communicated on a local market level, but I work globally; being based in the Nordic market and I can confirm that we in this market have support for more models than the ones listed by the agent you spoke to.
I know that most high end devices past the Xperia Z2 model have support for the feature, but as I mentioned previously in this thread it is dependant on the market operators. As an example, in the Nordic market there is a specific operator which recently pushed the feature to the Z5-series running their branded software - while a different operator has not done so yet.
Emir, in Nordic region do M4 Aqua/M5 have VoLTE support in latest MarshMallow?
If so I can try flashing that firmware as my M4 Aqua is already out of warranty.

Hey @ppgsk17, to my personal knowledge there's no operator which offers this in the Nordics.

Hi, The information I have is still that the operator has to enable this and push it to specific device models, therefore I can only refer to the operator regarding this.

Hello everyone, I have received some new information regarding VoLTE in our Xperia devices and I am sorry to say that M4 Aqua is not one of the supported models according to the information I have available.
However, I have took notice regarding the interest in such a feature and have made sure to forward it internally as user feedback on your behalf, thank you for showing such interest!

Share some update for m4 aqua dual to activate VoLte in m4 aqua. I think it is possible to activate this model.where as other company like Asus,lenovo,Samsung, mi shared updates where as Sony not taking any steps.
This type of harashment coming from company side we will take decision to shift brand Sony to other.
Sony sales after service is very bad in eastern part of INDIA.
