M4 Aqua won't start

Got the phone just 10 days ago and I'm already facing a major problem with it. After shooting a 10 minutes long video I got a message the internal memory is full and the camera stopped recording. Everything was good except the phone working a little bit slower so I decided to restart it. And that killed it. The phone starts, displays the Sony logo, then the Android one, then a blue loading screen appears and that's all - it hungs every time I do it. I still don't have very important data stored in the internal memory so decided to do a hard reset. For my surprise the phone won't boot the recovery mode neither. This is the first phone I've ever seen that is unable to load the recovery mode. Anyway, let's assume I don't press the right key combination so please let me know if you are a 100% sure which keys should be pressed. Thanks!

My sony Aqua M4 does the same thing with the sony logo, it keeps like its restarting but its only the sony logo. i have installed PC Companion but still the same, i have taken it to repairs shops and they put new software but same problem. Sometimes it works for 30 mins then it starts restarting with sony logo and it can do this like for an hour or more.

Hi mine was doing exactly this and even after hard reboot several times and using Sony companion still would not boot.

So after everything what I did apart from punch my phone lol was restored my phone with the Sony companion once complete disconnected from pc, boot the m4 aqua started to loop again so hold in the power button and volume up button together and it vibrates but you want to continue holding so it vibrates 7 times was what worked for me, once I done that I left the phone for a min and hey presto it booted running Android 6 platform.

It is the RAM memory in the phone that causes the problem and yes the phone isn't running smoothly it's a little laggy as it only has half 800mb ram running and not the 2 gb it's supposed to but  its working for the moment and I know this as I am writing this using my M4 aqua hope this helps all

my phone is wont start, i've tried to perform xperia companion, but at the step to connect phone to computer Via USB cable, the next step is not open.. the LED is turning green, but the next step no run.. can u help me pls?
