Soundbars - Discount code

Hi all,

 

I purchased an XR-55X90L 55" yesterday, which qualifies for the current Sony promotion to get discounted Soundbars.

 

Can anyone let me know how long it takes to receive the discount code?

 

I haven't received any discount code via email (yes, I checked the Spam folder), and it seems like someone needs to approve it manually. I wonder how much time I need to wait?

Resolved. I sent an email to the shop where I purchased the TV to complain that I wasn't receiving the discount code. They simply asked me for the email associated with my Sony account, under which my TV is registered. After a few hours, the discount code arrived.

It’s been days now, and I still haven’t received any code.
This is an official Sony promotion that is currently running in many countries.
Is it possible for it to take this long?

Hi @djeticsokolic   Have you got details of this promotion? Most promotions are for buying the soundbar (discounted) at the same time as the TV. Did you make a claim and provided your email address, or how does it work? Unless a fellow customer has completed the same promotion, then it is unlikely that you will get answers here.

Yes, that is the process I followed. 

I purchased an eligible TV, registered it, and now Sony should send the discount code for an eligible Soundbar purchase.

 

I expected this to be automated since I purchased it in an eligible official Sony partner shop, that promoted the discount. The shop has no idea when and how codes are delivered, they don't have insights into that process I asked even there. 

So, waiting days for the code since odd.
