HELP. Sony HT-CT80 No Sound after boom sound.

Yesterday, while playing on my PS4, the soundbars speakers did a sound like a bang and stopped working. After having the Soundbar turned off for 10 minutes, it started working again for seconds and did the boom sound in the speakers again. Output is via Optical cable to my Bravia. I also tried to play music from my Xperia via Bluetooth,worked for a moment and then the speakers did the boom sound. 

Should i return it ?

Hi there

It does indeed sound like a hardware issue.  If its under warranty, contact the retailer you purchased it from for either an exchange or warranty repair.
