Sony's Remote Control App Not Working

I've two Sony TV side by side. I use the Remote Control app on my Note 8 to operate both of them. The app was working just fine when my phone was running Android 7.0. But today that I updated to Android 8.0 whenever now I am opening the app it is only loading a blank screen on its start up and crashing after few seconds. How do I fix it??

Update: After uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of the app its working fine once again
