Hi, I have been talking photos of bees and trying to get sharp (in flight photos), I have be close but not close enough. I have s Sony A7 and a 6300 both have a range of focusing options but I would welcome any advice to get better shots, I just need a point in the right direction on best set up. Thanks.
Hi DPRees,
-The focusing position moves toward infinity when you turn the function ring to the right. The focusing position moves to the closer range when you turn the function ring to the left.
-Also, When using the Alpha 6300, when shooting with focus mode set to AF-A , sometimes the camera does not maintain focus on a moving subject:
In AF-A mode, the camera automatically recognizes whether the subject is moving or not, and switches the AF mode between Single-shot AF (AF-S) and Continuous AF (AF-C) accordingly.
- Set the camera to the Shutter Speed Priority (S) mode.
- Adjust the shutter speed.
Hope that helps.
Cheers.
