prs600 sleep mode/shutdown not working?

new prs 600  sleep mode / shut down not working? Left it on overnight to test now battery almost depleted. Any advice? Thnx

answered my own question! seems I had left it open on a drawing and this seems to be the cause of the battery depletion as when i tried a test just leaving it on the "home" page it went into sleep mode ok
