This probably sounds like a repair but wanted to check here first for any suggestions....
The camcorder's power button has started to develop a fault where it switches on intermittently. Sometimes it will switch on straight away. Other times it will need pressing numerous times to get a response. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? The battery is charged so that doesn't seem to be the issue.
I haven't got the power cable so don't know if would respond to that.
