XF90 Bluetooth Headphones MX3 Not Discovered

This one is driving me nuts, I hope someone can shed some light.

I am trying to pair MX3 headphones to a XF90 TV (Nougat). All software is up to date, the headphones are in pairing mode, the TV is 'Searching for Accessories' via the Bluetooth menu and the headphones do not appear.

The headphones are discoverable by my laptop so looks like there are no problems there. Any ideas?
