Hi All,
Since the most recent update I’ve had a nightmare with my smart tv.
Whilst watching Sky the sounds goes off and then the tv either restarts itself or it freezes.
When watching Netflix or using an app like Spotify the tv turns itself off and reboots.
the model of the tv is KD-49X8309C

That sounds really annoying. I would suggest trying a soft reset on your TV which should help. You can find more details on how to perform this here.

Thank you for your response. I tried the soft reset but unfortunately it hasn’t made a difference. Is there anything else I could try?

Hi sarahmurley,
I think you just need to make sure that the software version that the TV is running on is v5.381 or later. If so, then you can try to reset the TV to factory settings from Home - Settings - Storage and Reset - Factory settings.
