Lost bluetooth connection between TV and soundbar

Lost bluetooth connection between Sony KD-49X8305-C and Sony soundbar HT CT-180. I've tried switching off/on both devices but TV doesn't see the soundbar when in pairing mode although it is picked up by bluetooth on iPhone. Any suggestions please?

Hi @BobStan 

I am amazed that it used to work as according to its specification Bluetooth (HID/HOGP/3DSP/SPP ) it does not include the A2DP profile required to connect to your soundbar.

Therefore it must be a non-Sony add on that used to establish the connection?

Thanks for the reply which prompted me to check my user manual. The Bluetooth connection is used between the soundbar and sub woofer and it is the wired 'Optical' connection between the TV and soundbar that must have been playing up. All working again now.
