I don't want to tempt fate, but this week's update to the v6.4960 firmware appears to have finally fixed a number of niggling issues I've had between my HT-ZF9 soundbar and KD-43XH8505 tv (which also blighted my previous tv - the KD-43XF8505).
I haven't had a single sound drop out or distorted/missing audio from any of the TV's streaming apps since install. Still time for them to rear their ugly head, but so far so good! 🤞🏻
And for the cherry on top - A fully working, Dolby vision/atmos, 4K supporting Apple TV+ app! 😲

ps. Can you have a word with Disney about getting Dolby Atmos support on the Disney+ app next - That would be the cherry on top - Thanks!

I have the same TV and have had issues with the sound on a connected AV Receiver and also black frames appearing on HD recordings from attached USB HDD. Both issues have resolved with the new firmware.... I am cautiously optimistic 🙂
