Why ďoes this TV not turn off after a certain time for safety and save electric

Some how things have got mixed up,my question was does this TV turn off on its own if left switched on and gone out or gone on holiday,ie my previous LG used to turn off if you had not used remote for 4 hours,sorry 're mix up but was not down to me Michael

Hi Vwtroc4228,

If you go to Settings - Power - Eco - Idle TV Standby you will be able to choose how long should the TV stay On without any interaction before turning itself Off. The options are 1, 2, 4 or 24 hours.
