Hi Guys,
For some reason when I press the Input button on the remote to switch between my HDMI inputs I get six options, when I only have three boxes connected.
All three show up twice but with different descriptions.
I assume it's due to me turning on Bravia Sync, so my Soundbar works automatically, but I don't understand why it should change the input list.
Any ideas?
Hey, can you check if your TV is running on the latest software version from this link, also try clearing the cached data to refresh the TV by pressing Home - Settings - Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data - Clear. You can also try to forget all of synced devices on BRAVIA sync and then register them again from this link. I hope this helps
Hi,
Thanks for the advice.
I'll check the Software and clear the Cache as you suggested.
How do I "Forget" synced devices? When I go the Bravia Sync settings all the devices are always on the list (whether they are powered up or not.
Paul
Hey,
You can forget the synced devices by going to [BRAVIA Sync device list] and then start removing the devices, also you'll find a blue toggle button when you access the [BRAVIA Sync control], if you press on it, you can switch it off.
Hi @Pebbleridge
In my many (many) years of using Sony Bravia Sync I cannot remember a time when the inputs don't show up twice. It doesn't matter which one of the two you choose, the result is the same.
Hi @LightFoot
Thanks for the info, I'll probably give up on that aspect.
Another problem I'm having is getting Bravia Sync to turn On the TV when I turn On my Arris 4K Freesat box . It does turn Off the Arris when I turn Off the TV.
Any ideas.

Hi @Pebbleridge That will be a setting in you Freesat box. Look for HDMI Control or C.E.C. Normally it is the other way around, for instance on the Sky Q box it switches on the TV but does not switch the TV off because Sky Q does not include that feature.
Hi @LightFoot
I've looked through the Arris Freesat box manual and all the options I can find in "Settings" and I can't find anything referring to HDMI or CEC Control.
The Arris box is poor in other areas, so I guess this is another issue.
Hi @Elodin
I'm sorry but I must be a bit dumb, I can not figure out how to forget the synced devices. I have the list but it just shows everything.
How do I forget the ones I don't want to control?
Hey @Pebbleridge
When you navigate to BRAVIA Sync Settings, you'll find BRAVIA Sync control as the first option with a blue toggle next to it, you press on it and the TV will ask you if you want to disable BRAVIA Sync control, say yes and now it is switched off.
