Since 2 days ago my Bravia (approx. 3 yrs old) disconnected from the internet and will not reconnect to my router. When I go into Network & Internet and click on WIFI - it switches on (icon goes blue)
and then immediately switches off (icon goes white). I've tried the following and the problem persists:
- unplugged TV & plugged back in
- switched TV off and switched TV back on
- Factory Re-set
- Rebooted router (irrelevant as the TV cannot pick up any wifi networks)
This is bonkers, I've no idea what has caused this. It must be an issue with the TV.
Any advice or help appreciated, Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you have tried all the obvious steps. It is probably best to reach out to Sony Support.
Have you considered connecting it using Ethernet, perhaps good quality powerline adapters if running an Ethernet cable is impractical.
Perhaps check the software is up too date (USB method, if no internet). Software Update
It is a 2018 model, so very unlikely to be in warranty. However Sony will want to see a copy of your receipt, serial number etc. so it is best to be prepared.
