Bravia TV Freezing

Hello 

I'm looking for some advice as my Bravia Android TV (KD-49XE8077) keeps freezing constantly - especially when trying to open or use streaming apps such as BBC iPlayer and Netflix.

The issue is now at the point where I'm having to reboot the TV twice a day sometimes to be able to even get the apps to open. Even scrolling through the YouView channel list is also painful.

I've tried resetting the TV, rebooting the TV only fixes it for a short while and I've updated it to the latest firmware v6.7210.0363EUA and still having considerable problems.

Any help would be appreciated as the only thing I can do next is to bin this TV and buy a new one!

Are you on Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection as is it only those streaming apps or is it them all, what about if you try the browser, does it freeze when trying to surf the Web? Also have you checked to see if the apps you're having issues with are up to date
