No picture when Sky box connected through Matrix splitter and soundbar

Hello,

1. Under normal conditions, sky box through Samsung soundbar to Sony TV Hdmi lead 5 mtrs.

All works perfectly ok

2. When I connect Matrix splitter between Skybox and soundbar, the picture on the tv tries to work, but to no avail.

It is possible to see that it is trying to switch the signal on the TV

3. My projector works, however, when I switch the Matrix box to Projector.

4. I have tried a couple of different HDMI amplifiers, one without power adapter and one without.

5. Obviously I can get everything to work by connecting HDMI leads direct, but it is rather frustrating when i have gone to the trouble of buying the correct kit.

6 Any help would be most appreciated
