Voices sound robotic on Sony TV

Sony TV: KD43XE7002 Software: 8.535-1000-1.120-02 Bought TV: December 2017 (3 months old) Problem: voices sound robotic. Especially male voices. This happens whether I am watching TV on my Sky box, Amazon stick or Netflix app on TV. Happens on HD and non-HD channels. Solutions I have tried: - Sound settings factory reset - TV reset - Sky box reset - Software update - Changed various sound settings according to the manual - Switched from a HD channel to a non-HD channel - Tried an external speaker (made it sound worse) I've only had this TV three months and I'm upset that there are issues with the voices of actors sounding robotic. Furthermore, nothing I've tried works to reduce it. There are no visible settings to alter treble and bass.

Have you been able to compare the sound from other TVs that are the same model as yours

just in case there is a fault?

Was it purchased online or in a store?
