tablet corrupts 64GB SD card?

this has happened twice now...sd card fine, 64gb not recognised when put in, then when put into pc, and then apple mac, no longer worked...said needed formatting...all videos and photos gone. I sent back the sd card and it has just happened again...only machine used both times was my sony tablet

help, it didnt happen to any other size sd card
