Sound question - Please help

Hi

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the laptop up to play WMPlayer through your amplifier or stereo??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

PS, its a AR21s

Most people just connect from the headphone socket to the aux / line inputs of the amplifier. All you need is a 3.5mm stereo jack to two phono plug lead.

No usually it works without hitch.

What's the problem? Is it distorted? In this case go to the system tray and click on the grey speaker and lower the master volume

Hi Leetay,

Have you checked in Master Volume (double click the speaker icon in the system tray) that the headphones has not had mute selected or the volume turned right down...:smileyconfused:

I'm getting sound, however, it is fine on mono, when i attach the second phono plug it goes quiet and sound like the song is underwater!

Strange

Maybe i need an external sound card (USB)

It sounds like a fauly cable.
