I have tried to install the demo of a new pc game (Caesar4) on my laptop.<BR /><BR />Unfortunately, when i run a game, i can't see any texture (just the landscape), the texture (buildings, characters, roads....) are completely white.<BR /><BR />I ever notice the same problem on a desktop computer (GeForce 6600) and a driver update solve the problem.<BR /><BR />On my laptop, i downloaded the latest version of the nvidia drivers (on vaio link website : Version : 8.4.9.1logo, 8/24/2006) <BR /><BR />results :<BR /><BR />In the second time, i completely restore the system and installed the new drivers, but i still have the same problems.<BR /><BR />I've got 2 questions :<BR />1/ Why the new driver doesn't work? (The video card GPU is newer than the desktop one)<BR />2/ Why the monitor switch mode disappear with the new drivers?
