When I boot, the computer comes to life as it usually does: on battery or mains but there is no display.<BR /><BR />Connecting an external monitor produces the same result - i.e. nothing.<BR /><BR />Although I doubt that there's a straightforward solution, I'd be really grateful for any ideas.<BR /><BR />The machine is out of warrantee so I'd be interested to know what the best procedure for repair is.
