    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;may be anybody can help me.&lt;BR /&gt;I use a SONY VGN-FE31M&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I found with PC Wizard 2006 ( a benchnark program) following situation:&lt;BR /&gt;- Operation with AC-Adapter show me the benchmark values of the &lt;BR /&gt;  processor at the processor speed 1,83 GHz&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- Operation with battery shows me a processor speed 0,9 GHz and half  of the benchmark  values of the AC-operation.&lt;BR /&gt;  Even with switched off battery saving options.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Normal....or problem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you for your help!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Greetings&lt;BR /&gt;Thomas&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Don't worry too much about it... at first i also found that odd on my FE21M but the fact is that if you take a good look at the VAIO Power Management, under the energy management, you'll see that when running on battery the system doesn't allow you to select  the CPU control with the others options that are available under the "plugged in" section. I think that it has to do with the "smart" energy management to ensure long lasting lifetime for the battery. In my case the performance of the laptop runs under  40-50 % of the full power when plugged in to AC power.  &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.at/html/@3191CA7235A406D833094BA2DD1CF2FF/images/smilies/011.png" alt=":slight_smile:" title=":slight_smile:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
