BRIGHTNESS CONTROLS DOESNT WORK

FN+Brightness buttons doesnt work.
It shows only that black overlay like Im changing brightness but it doesnt change. if i press - bright then it drops one bar but no change in brightness. also when i unplug my vaio it doesnt change darker (i've set level 5 from vaio power management when running on batteries)

- also my S2 button pops up the change button action dialog whatever ill configure S2 to do

If someone could tell me in witch order these Utils Should be installed for everything to work fine (A) (and what for, is that util needed)

still it shows only 1 bar removed when I -bright. the screen and nothing more ... like it freezes or smthng ... every other button works ... and FN also ... i may hold the FN+(-BRIGHT) button or click it twice but it just doesnt change and also the real brightness doesnt change ... does this need some other update aswell? or a specific nVidia display driver cuz i downloaded mine from www.laptopvideo2go.com ... the lates for nVidia GeForce GO 7600 (97.02) ?

If you revert to the original pre-installed Nvidia drivers do the function keys work as expected..
