Problem after update

When updating windows I am now having problem getting on to my vaio laptop. Sometimes it accept my password but most of the time it doesn't. It wont allow me to change any settings either apart from picture and name but everything else I have problem with, so I don't know from one time to the next whether I will be able to log on at all! Not a very happy place to be!

Have you tried running a System Restore to a date before the last updates?

If that fails then you could try uninstalling the last set of updates.

Did you install any optional driver software offered by Windows Update?

Is anything else not working? What error messages do you get?

Have you run a full Anti-Virus scan - just in case?

Hi and thanks for replying. I haven't done a system restore, I will try and do that now. It's just been weird since the last update from windows. I'm the only user on this computer and it wont accept my password some times as well as not letting me change it or remove it? I'm confused!

Hi again, I am trying to reset computer which is fine but when it ask me to save a reset disk it wont let me as it wont accept my password????? What is going on?
