Hi , my camcorder is Hdr-sr12 , A few days ago i formated it by computer and now it shows hard eror when i turn on it.

i formated it sevral time but it didn't been true , i don't understand where is the problem

please help me ...

When you try and turn it on after formatting, does it display a specific error code? If so, this may help to diagnose the problem.

it doesn't show any specific eror codes but i can't record on its hard!! i must use a memory card for recording and capturing.

Hello again

As opposed to formatting the hard drive, have you tried resetting the camera to its factory settings in the menu? You will be able to do this by inserting a small object into the reset button and holding it there for a few seconds. There are further instructions about this on page 29 of the manual here:

I've resetting it but it didn't change anything.

when i turn on/off it , the light of charging and the red light near the memory be clear.

i read it shows the problem in the camera but i couldn't solve it.
