Hi all, I bought a Gobe variable ND filter for this camera, mostly for video, but it seems that , certainly at the long zoom ranges, the picture is not at all sharp. I thought it was not focussing but manually does not help. It seems to be affecting the whole quality of the picture...sharpness. Has anyone else found this, or had more success with different filters?

Hi Michael_Kn,

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the camera or the filter, or it might be the compatibility between both as Sony has recommendations for the compatibility when it comes to accessories.

You can visit the support page here: https://bit.ly/2p8saen and type the model name of the camera, at the bottom of the page you will see the compatibility section, If there is a compatible filter and this filter is making the same issue with the camera, then the issue must be in the camera.
